Miguel López Alonso
Miguel Lopez Alonso is a Spanish-born designer graduated in 2016 from the prestigious CSDMM (Centro Superior de Diseño de Moda de Madrid) and HAW in Hamburg.
He relocated to London in 2016 to follow his passion and continue his journey in design.
He has spent the last few years working for Vivienne Westwood, both at the fashion design studio and the couture boutique. His time here has shaped his creative vision and he has relished learning everything about the fashion design process. A particular highlight came in 2017 when he worked on the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood SS18 fashion show in Paris.
He also thoroughly enjoyed his time completing an apprenticeship for The 2nd Skin & Co in Madrid and designer Steven Tai in London where he designed his 2019 Summer capsule collection.
The design concept is principal to Miguel Lopez’s work. He is characterised through his sensitivity and originality, eschewing current trends, he expresses his inner self by combining functionality with aesthetic.
